Professional command help for permit
Usage: permit [(name) | all] [r|w]
The permit command allows a gleeman to permit another person to listen to
his/her gossips and to write new gossips. You need to give someone read/
write access to allow them to write new gossips. If you just type permit
(name), it defaults to giving them only listen access. You may also give
permission to read, or read and write, to 'all' by using this command.
