Tale of Saddare 'Sedai
Saddare was an Apprentice Wise One when Moiraine and Egwene Sedai came to the Three-fold Land. She wasn't quite sure how to react to them at first, as the histories said that the Aiel had failed the Aes Sedai in an age past. Many thought that they were meant to serve again, and Saddare was one of them. She decided that the best way for her to serve would be to go to the White Tower and train as an Aes Sedai herself. The Wise Ones forbid her to go, so one night while they were in the sweat tents, she snuck away in the dark.
After crossing the Dragonwall, she encountered many strange and wonderous things. Everything was so green! Rivers gave her quite a fright, until she discovered structures called bridges, made to cross them. None of these wonders could prepare her for when she first set eyes on Tar Valon, however. It simply took her breath away!
She arrived just as Siuan Sanche, the Amrylin Seat, was deposed, and got caught up in the swarms of people fleeing the city. Southwest she went, until she arrived at a small encampment of Aes Sedai between the Dragonmount and the river just south of it. The Aes Sedai there were mostly Blue Ajah, and they were determined to return to Tar Valon and drag Elaida from power.
Hearing what Elaida had done, Saddare decided that this indeed was how she was to serve the Aes Sedai. Thanks to the training she received in the Three-fold Land, she was raised to full Aes Sedai very quickly (despite the lack of an oath rod in the encampment), and chose the Blue Ajah. The planning to take down Elaida dragged on, and Calindra Sedai brought up the fact that they would need someone to take Elaida's place, when they succeeded. Surprisingly, they all looked to Saddare, who agreed. From that point on, all the Aes Sedai in their encampment regarded her as the true Amrylin Seat - they even had a stole made for her.
Preparations are still underway, and the Aes Sedai (including Saddare) venture out into the land, seeking those who will aid them, and seeking supplies. Rumors run rampant - everything from the Asha'men taking Aes Sedai prisoner to an army of Aes Sedai and soldiers coming from Salidar to wage war against the Tower. Saddare and her followers pay little heed to any of it - they focus entirely on their task. The day will come soon when the White Tower will be whole again - watch for its coming, and fear the wrath of Saddare should you oppose her on that day!
